Patrick E. McCarthy is an award-winning professional photographer and videographer with over 25 years of experience based in New York City. He has extensive expertise in photography, aerial photography, and videography, including action sports, magazine covers, and newspaper features, as well as corporate portraits published worldwide.
Patrick has photographed major New York sports teams such as the New York Giants, New York Mets, Yankees, Rangers, Nets, and Islanders, and was requested to photograph the team photo for the New York Jets. He has photographed prominent sporting events, such as the finals of the U.S. Tennis Open and Olympic trials, and for many years at the starting line of the New York City Marathon.
He has produced and published numerous video works. His documentary "Looking For The Shot" was shown on opening night in Tribeca in the Big Apple Film Festival. He subsequently completed other video works, including "Super Storm Sandy" and "Tunnels Under Manhattan."
Patrick expanded his services to offer aerial photography and videography after receiving his FAA Part 107 License in 2021. Since then, he has completed aerial work for news services, country clubs, schools, and golf facilities.
